| Right — been using this thing for about four months now and I keep coming back, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, for context.
How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I could never work out what an e/w return actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even a straight one-selection punt.
Their single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in the price and your stake and you get the return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, a lucky 15, a yankee, honestly that's where most people I know mess it up. The thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier tools. There's an probability calculator that shows what margin's baked in, and there's the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent for when I'm splitting a race.
It's not perfect mind. Its design feels pretty plain — no polish, which honestly I don't mind but some will. Phone-wise it's fine although the acca grid are a squeeze. Also there's nothing on the app store, it's a website and that's it — fine by me but worth saying.
Right, that's me. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie. |
